Today (12th October) was the first match in the 2019 Manchester Area Cross Country League. There was a great turnout, especially considering that this weekend sees runners taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon and the Palma Marathon. The October run at Wythenshawe Park is usually the one match of the five which has a dry, fast course, but the recent rain made this run a bit different. Mud was splashed, tea was drunk and cake was eaten.
